Well its come to this. The season 3 finale for DC's Stargirl has now turned into the series finale without a season 4 renewal or pick up at another network. We know from our friends at Stargirl Aftershow that, showrunner and executive producer Geoff Johns knew that with all the uncertainty at The CW and WB, that this could be a series finale and he crafted the ending to feel like that just in case. So, while we only got three seasons, it should feel like a complete story told start to finish! The synopsis doesn't tell us much but from experience, when they are short like that, its because the episode is packed with surprises! Check it out below:
THE FINAL SHOWDOWN — Courtney (Brec Bassinger) and the JSA find themselves in the fight of their lives against their biggest threat yet. Luke Wilson, Amy Smart, Yvette Monreal, Anjelika Washington, Cameron Gellman, Trae Romano, Meg DeLacy, Hunter Sansone, Alkoya Brunson and Joel McHale also star. Walter Carlos Garcia directed the episode written by Geoff Johns (#313). Original airdate 12/7/2022.
