Stargirl Wraps Filming on Season 1

That's a wrap! Starting production in February 2019, the cast, crew and producers have been working hard down in Dallas, Georgia creating Geoff Johns' vision for Courtney Whitmore, and a new generation of the Justice Society of America. Stargirl brings live action versions of characters like Wildcat, Icicle, Hourman, Dr. Midnite, and many more! Some of these characters have been in live action before while others will make their debut! This weekend, all of the Stargirl staff were able to take a load off and celebrate the completion of Stargirl's first season! Brec Bassigner, Meg Delacy, Jake Austin Walker and Anjelika Washington took to social media to share snippets of the party! It is important to note that the show isn't completely done at this point. Minor additional filming and audio recording could be needed but the majority of the work is complete! Check out the video and photos below:

Wow... Isn't 6 months an awful long time for what I assume will be 10-13 episodes? I'm really looking forward to it, don't get me wrong, but still...

In comparison to a CW show, yeah its a longer production schedule. But its more realistic when you take into account that this is a 13 episode streaming platform show. Their schedules are more like HBO kind of stuff. The cast and crew got to enjoy weekends, and vacation days. That kind of perk is what brings in some of the amazing actors they got on the show.
