I guess it's going to be a big day for DC Universe's Stargirl! Earlier this morning we learned that Lou Ferrigno Jr. would take the role of Hourman, the founding member of the Justice Society of America, and now we just got our Wildcat! Brian Stapf, known for his roles on USA's The Purge and The CW's Valor, Stapf will be playing the Ted Grant version of Wildcat. We've seen casting calls for a Yolanda Montez which could be a link to this founding member of the JSA. TV Insider has described the multiple versions of this character:
A founding member of the Justice Society of America introduced in 1964 was previously updated into Star City gym owner and ex-vigilante Ted Grant (J.R. Ramirez) who taught Laurel (Katie Cassidy) how to fight on Arrow. Stargirl's Golden Age version of Grant's clawed and cowled Wildcat is also a former heavyweight boxer and in all likelihood, will be just as indispensable to the titular heroine.
What do you think of these JSA members? The 40-year-old plus actors who are taking the roles of this first generation of the JSA are very fascinating to us! Share your thoughts in the comments below and in the forum!
