If you know anything about DC Comics or the DC Entertainment Universe movies, then chances are you've almost certainly heard of Geoff Johns. Johns was President and Chief Creative Officer of DC Entertainment which oversees all the TV shows, movies and intellectual properties that DC owns. His list of landmark comicbook titles goes on nearly forever and his creative genius might not be matched. He recently stepped down from the role of president so that he could pursue his creative side even more by developing his own Mad Ghost Productions agency and start bringing new TV show content to the screen. Today, it seems that we are getting our first look at what Johns' is doing with his new company. Welcome Stargirl!
Stargirl was announced at San Diego Comic Con in 2018. Johns' spread the news in his panel at the event and again on subsequent interviews. He is doing this first show with mega-experience producers Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter who have created The CW's Arrowverse.
