Geoff Johns Confirms Solomon Grundy

Crisis on Infinite Earths seems to have touched just about every DC Comics-based property on television (and in movies) some way. For DC Universe and The CW's upcoming Stargirl, it's a home right where the Justice Society of America belongs, Earth 2. But now that the crisis is over, the waiting has begun. Rumored to have an April start date, fans are anxiously waiting to see more of Courtney Whitmore and her team. With only two trailers and a big team shot in Crisis on Infinite Earths, fans have been dissecting all the footage we've seen so far. Today, series creator Geoff Johns has confirmed what we all believed.

Remember that big lumbering creature leaving the manor as the Injustice Society looks onward? Well according to Geoff Johns via, he was born on a Monday:

0079 grundy

I'm glad there's a little mystery to it; I don't think everyone quite knows what the show is going to totally be about yet, beyond Courtney and discovering the legacy of Starman and this team coming together. That's fun, knowing we have all these doors to open and cards to turn over and I can't wait for people to see our Solomon Grundy. Our Solomon Grundy's ridiculous! The visual effects house that's done all the work for Stargirl is Zoic Studios and Andrew Orloff is one of the founders of it. The work they put in there, their team blows us away every time we do a visual effects review. Every time they deliver anything, all the different characters and the world that we're tapping into, it's phenomenal work. I can't wait for people to see it, it's truly a cut above the norm.

If we were to grade the show just on the trailers we've seen so far, we would agree with Johns, this show certainly looks to be a "cut above the norm"! Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and in the forum! Follow us on Twitter to get breaking news!
