Ah that pink pen. Ever since Courtney and Pat paid a visit to the old JSA headquarters we've been wondering about that pink pen. Pat claimed that it was the most powerful and dangerous weapon in the entire arsenal of tools and weapons that the JSA have. Courtney, dismissing the pen and throwing it into her desk cup of other pens might have set up an accidental releasing of the power within. According to Entertainment Weekly, that power is actually the wish-granting electrical magical imp from the mysterious land of Bahdnesia. The all CGI character will be voiced by stand-up comedian Jim Gaffigan! Thunderbolt is described as:
[Someone who] the wishes he grants often cause more trouble than the wish-asker would ever expect. But despite his somewhat constant supernatural disasters, the Thunderbolt's heart is always in the right place, even if it is wounded by the friends he has lost throughout his long existence.
Also according to Entertainment Weekly, it was suggested but not confirmed that it would be Courtney's younger brother Mike Dugan who would potentially let this genie out of the bottle.
