Stargirl's Summer School Chapter 3 Trailer

Well darn, plus one then a minus one! Tonight we all watched as Courtney came to terms with how she was feeling about Jenny and, through Pat's guidance, she was able to be a better friend and influence for Jenny to grow. And grow she did. As the team struggled to figure out what was making the lantern overload, it was Courtney who was able to discover that Jenny was actually the source of the power and she absorbed all the energy into herself! Now fully charged with the powers of Green Lantern, Jenny makes a hasty exit to go find her lost twin brother! So the JSA may not have gained a new member yet, but they did gain a new enemy! Shade is in Blue Valley and his intentions are unknown! Check out the trailer for next week's all new episode below:

The Flash and Legends are both unwatchable these days, I'm glad Stargirl is back... it with S&L and now Supergirl will make fun night of television.

Looks like we get some action next week. It's sorely needed. I get that they want to set up the story and new characters, but these first two episodes have been a slow burn. I think the quality is there, but because this show is written as one long story instead of a villain-of-the-week format, some weeks, even in season one, go without any superheroics or action. The overall story is very strong, front to back, but when watching week-by-week (as opposed to binging the whole season), it can result in episodes that feel slower paced, and (sad to say) a bit boring.

My buddy told me he blamed the CW exclusivity for the writing shift and two "boring" episodes. When I told him it's the exact same team as season 1, he was shocked.

I know the action will pick up. But this series just feels like it should be binged, instead of watched one week at a time.
